Ruby Bell Murphy

Ruby Bell Webb Murphy, age 93, of Tellico Plains, passed away 5:05 P.M. Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at The Waters of Sweetwater. She was a longtime member of Rural Vale Baptist Church. She loved gardening.
Preceded in death by husband, Grant Murphy, parents, James R. Webb and Ada Freeman Webb, brothers, Lawrence Webb and Jay Webb;
Survivors, son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Melissa Murphy, grandsons, Grant Murphy and Caleb Murphy, sister, Vernell Tilley, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service 6:00 P.M. Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Rural Vale Baptist Church, Rev. Bill Clark and Rev. Carroll Hamilton officiating. Family will receive friends 5-6:00 P.M. Sunday at the fellowship hall of Rural Vale Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ruby's friend, Ellen Johnson, 116 Sands Rd., Sweetwater, TN 37874 with the Monroe County Animal Hospital.
