Ruby Mae Bullard Owen, 86, born September 21,1938 in Red River County; Tx. to Dewey & Hallie Bullard. She Passed away December 15, 2024, in Granbury, Tx.
Ruby loved being a grandmother, she traveled across many states to be with her grandchildren. She loved traveling the world with her friend Nancy Besinger to Europe several times and other various places. She also loved playing bingo and visiting casinos often as possible.
Ruby met Dan Owen in 2011. Christmas Eve of 2012 Dan asked Ruby to marry him, they were married on April 6, 2013. They loved to travel. They took a 3-week vacation traveling to Yellowstone, visiting several towns along the way.
Ruby worked for the State of New Mexico Department of Vocational Rehabilitation for 25 years. Her hard working work ethic and dedication granted her several appreciation, recognition, leadership awards throughout the years. President of National Association of Rehabilitation Secretary (NARS) 1974-1975 Leadership award SWARS 1978-1979 and again 1988-1989 Aud F Darr award for distinguished efforts beyond the call of duty 1993
Survived by her husband Dan Owen, son Mark Ferrell, daughter Tammy Prince, Son Randy Ferrell and wife Jenee, daughter Megan Owen Seaman and husband Jake. Grandchildren: Jason & Serah Prince, Christopher & Lauren Ferrell, Charles Ferrell, Carl & Theresa Ferrell, Zachary & Ciara Ferrell, Mikel & Callie Ferrell 10 great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her father Dewey Bullard, mother Hallie Bullard, sister Ruthie Baird, sister Martha Maple, brother George Bullard, grandson Allan Wayne Ferrell, great granddaughter Kaylei Roxanne Ferrell.
Memorial service will be held on January 25, 2025, at 10am, Highland Baptist Church, Pampa, TX.
