Ruby Pearl Fox Edwards

Ruby Pearl Fox Edwards, age 94, of the Pensacola Community, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17th, 2026 at The Greens of Spruce Pine. She was a daughter to the late Elzie and Arlie Hensley Fox. In addition to her parents, Ruby was also preceded in death by her loving Husband Cecil Edwards; sons: Ricky Lane and Steven Edwards; brothers: Jim and Carl Fox; and sisters: Carsie Hensley and Francis Blevins.
Ruby lived a simple life and found pleasure in the small things that it offered. She enjoyed time spent with her multitude of plants and was well known for having a green thumb. She was a dedicated homemaker and her family was always an unfaltering aspect of her life. Ruby will be remembered by her family for her caring heart and willingness to extended a helping hand to each of them.
Those who will continue to feel her presence are her sons: Randy Lee Edwards (Pamela) and Charles Jeffery Edwards (Deann); grandchildren: Heather Robinson (Tim), Jerramie Edwards, Rachel Smith (Rodney McPeters), Tanner Duncan (Sarah), Jeffery Gage Edwards, Asia Edwards Shell (Patrick) and Cody Ray; great-grandchildren: Jaden Edwards, Emma Greggory, Dallas Greggory, Maisley Duncan, Skyler Shell, Hudson Shell, Emery Ray and Gage Edwards; a sister, Margie; and host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Per Ruby's wishes, no services are planned at this time.
