Ruby Florence Chapell Pearson, 91, of Seneca, widow of Clarence Henry Pearson, passed away on June 28, 2025, at The Oaks.
Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of Wesley and Hepsie Mason Chappell.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her three children: Neva (Mike) Shelby, Sabrina Jones (Tommy, who predeceased Ruby), and Jeff (Becky) Pearson. Other survivors include five grandchildren: Matt Shelby, Trent Shelby, Amy (Tony) Whitney, Hayley (Logan) Davis, and Hunter Pearson. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Ruby was predeceased by her siblings; Jim (Fran) Chappell, Rose (Frank) Lee, Kate (Tony) Mazurek, Lola (John) Knox, Bettie (George) Paulos, Jackie (Reese) Wyatt, Myrtis (Larry) Donald, and one infant sister, Annie Chappell.
A private family graveside service was held.
The family is at their respective homes.
