Ruby Perry Obituary
A graveside service for will be held on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mrs. Perry was born on November 14th, 1928, in Dawsonville, GA to the late Joseph Lafayette Anderson and Ella Estalena Mulkey. Mrs. Perry was an award-winning machine operator at Wrigley's. Prior to that, she lived and worked in Chicopee, The Johnson & Johnson Mill and Village and was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church. Her love for children brought the neighborhood kids to her door and her refrigerator. Babies in grocery carts reached for her and her smile warmed us all.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Perry is preceded in death by her husband, William Allen Perry; son, David Perry; sisters, Winnie, Lela, Monie, Genett, and Grace; brothers, Seldon, Darcy, Eugene, and Vernon.
Mrs. Perry is survived by her son, RichardPerry and daughter-in-law, Ann Davis Perry of Gainesville, GA; daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Perry, of Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Michael Wayne Perry and Jennifer Brandon; 5 great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives also survive.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
