Ruby Rabon Obituary
She was born on September 13, 1933, in Stuart, Virginia, the daughter of the late Edith Cassidy Bullins and the late James Andrew Bullins.
She made her livelihood as a seamstress. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Tayor Rabon, whom she was married for 64 years, and her two grandsons, Jamie Linn Rabon and James Todd Cameron, whom she treasured dearly. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Elnora Quantz.
Mrs. Rabon cherished every moment with her family. Her life was a testament to her deep commitment and love for both her family and her faith. She is survived by her three children: Shelby Snyder and her husband Mike, Edward Taylor Rabon (Junior) and his wife Betsy and Ruth Cameron and her husband James Nathan, all of Salisbury. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and eight great- great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Rabon was a seamstress. She enjoyed sewing not only for her livelihood but for her children. One of her treasured loves was her pet and companion, Butchie, whom she was devoted to. She loved her flowers. Nothing gave her more pleasure than working in her flower beds. She enjoyed visiting the beach and the mountains. She was loved and adored by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Summersett Funeral Home from 10:00-11:00AM. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00AM in the Summersett Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill Hallman officiating. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House, 1229 Statesville Blvd. Salisbury NC 28144.
Our gratitude goes out to the staff at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House for their loving care and compassion for our mom.

I remember ms Ruth Rabon visiting our house when I was younger at my grandparents home! She was so sweet and polite! So sorry for the family and I so wanted to come to services but I couldn´t make! Prayers for family
