Ruby Rhoades Obituary
RHOADES – Ruby A. Rhoades, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. She was the wife of the late John H. Rhoades. Born December 5, 1930 in Torrington; the daughter of the late Andrew and Grace (Sterling) DeSanti. She was employed at Waring Products for many years. She is survived by her children, James Rhoades, Charles Rhoades, John Rhoades, Catherine Rhoades and William Rhoades. She is also survived by her sister, Bertha Olszanski; brother, Raymond DeSanti; grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by her daughter, Carol Ann Rhoades Shepard. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at St. James' Episcopal Church, 160 Main Street, Winsted at noon. Burial will follow at Forest View Cemetery in Winsted.
