Ruby Jewell Roper, age 81, of Cumming, GA., passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at her home. Ruby was 1 of 15 children born to James and Ethel Turner. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Junior Roper; son, Jeff Roper; grandchildren, Nathan Roper, Tyler Roper, Jonathan and Chevy Roper; great grandchildren, Skylar, Cody, Emma, Gavin, and Gabriel; sister and brother in law, Sue and Jack Heard; brother and sister in law, Jack and Charlene Turner; brothers in law and sisters in law, Beverly and Ronald Hales, Jimmy Dean, Nervalou Turner and Evelina Turner; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Orr, Rev. Randy Richards, Rev. Blake Samples and Rev. Randy Roper officiating.
Interment will be at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
