Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm and Friday morning from 9:00 till 10:00 am.
Service will be at Basler Funeral Home on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, MO
Memorials can be made to American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Ruby was one of a kind. She loved her family and would do anything for them and they loved her dearly. She lived on a farm and worked hard all her life. She loved all animals and had many pets through the years. She was an outdoor person and loved to work in her garden, yard, and her flowers. She would rather stay at home and pull weeds than to go anywhere. She loved to baby sit for her own family and anybody else that asked her. No matter what the job was, she would help anybody that asked her for help, even if it meant to bake a cake; she loved to feed people. Ruby was one of the first employees to start working at Freda's Restaurant when it opened on Mother's Day. She worked there for ten years until she had heart trouble and had to quit. At 46 years old she learned to drive so she could drive back and forth to work by herself. She was a great lady and will be deeply missed by everybody that knew and loved her.
