Thinking about you still. Can't believe it has been eight years already. Rest in peace sweet lady.

I was just thinking of Alline today. I found a picture of her that she had given to me and I e-mailed a copy to Alex, who I know really misses her. One time I gave her a necklace that a Masai important person would wear because I thought she was an important person. She invited me to their New Year's gathering one year and she wanted me to try chitlins. I was pleased to meet her mother there. She got to go to Ann's place in France with her and Alline showed us some beautiful pictures of their trip. She later obtained two tickets for me to the 24/7 tour when it came to Indianapolis. I took my nephew and we both loved the show. They canceled the meet-and-greet though so we didn't get to meet Anne. But I found the DVD! Alline may have thought of me as a casual acquaintance, I don't know. But I sure did enjoy being around her the times that I was. The candle I chose to light is similar to one I asked her if it was all right to use as a logo after I had used one on a card to her. She liked candles sometimes. After they made her I think they broke the mold. Best wishes to all her family.
