It seems like a thousand years ago when my brother and I would come out from the west coast and visit Aunt Ruby and Uncle Jack at their farm in Moulton. Visiting with them at the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office and Jail was an even greater thrill for us. I will always remember our visits with a special fondness as it was the only time I got to live on a farm and interact with horses and cattle on a daily basis. Life seemed simpler and a lot less crowded then...I miss it, and that makes losing Aunt Ruby even harder...
