Ruby Smith Obituary
Mrs. Ruby Mae Collins Smith, 82, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.
A graveside service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Friday, January 2, 2026, at Rowan Memorial Park. Rev. Billy Sechrist will officiate.
Mrs. Smith was born May 15, 1943 in High Point. She was a daughter of the late Alvin Collins and Roxie Baldwin Collins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Lester Smith, Jr.; two children, Ricky L. Smith, Sr. and Debbie Leazer; sister, Helen Gulledge; and brother, Curtis Lee Collins.
Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons, Jeffery Smith, Sr. and wife Kae of Salisbury and Timothy Smith of Rockwell; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
