I had the honor of meeting Ruby in May of 2013. I only spent a weekend with her at the wedding of her granddaughter to my son. Her amazing smile and laugh made me feel like I knew her my entire life. I remember walking around Galveston with her and just truly enjoying her company. Like her name, she is a jewel and and treasure. I'm sure that everyone that had the pleasure to talk to her, even for a small amount of time, were absolutely blessed. Darrel and all your family, I'm so happy I got to meet her. God bless. xxoo
