Ruby Darlene Stuart

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ruby Darlene Stuart, who left us peacefully on Nov. 18 2024 at the age of 85. Ruby was born on May 1,1939 in Boise City, Oklahoma. She moved to San Diego California where she grew up, married, and raised her family. Ruby was married to Arnold Stuart in 1958. She was a devoted and loving wife to Arnold for the past 66 years. They shared a life filled with love, laughter, and plenty of memories. They retired and moved to Duck Creek Village Utah where they enjoyed the mountains and outdoor activities, but eventually moved away from the harsh winter roads and settled in Cedar City, Utah. Ruby loved many things that included painting, traveling, bird watching, shopping, watching the San Diego Padres and most of all, spending time with her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend to all who knew her.
Ruby found immense joy in family gatherings, especially during the holidays, when her home was always filled with warmth, delicious food, and the sounds of laughter. Family gatherings will never be the same without her beautiful smile and warm hugs.
Ruby will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and her ability to make everyone feel special. She had a gift for making memories that will be cherished forever, and her legacy will live on through the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was the proud mother of Glenn Stuart and Iris Johnson, grandmother to Brian Johnson (Jamie ), Eric Johnson ( Carrie ), Amanda Johnson, Brenda Dennis ( Nick ), Joshua Stuart, Jeremy Stuart, Amber Reeves ( Jeffrey ), Tiffany Korsak ( Mark ), and great-grandmother to, Isaiah Guerrero, Mavrik Korsak, Wesley Reeves, Shyla Stuart, Andrew Stuart, Mckenzie Johnson, Kaden Johnson, Keagan Johnson, Addison Dennis, Nixon Dennis. All of whom she loved deeply.
She is preceded in death by Elwin and Oleta Johnson. She leaves behind a family who will continue to honor her memory with love and gratitude.
A celebration of her life will be held on 11/25/2024 at Cedar City cemetery with a graveside service, starting at 11AM.
Rest in peace, Ruby Darlene Stuart. You will forever be in our hearts.
