Ruby "Joyce" Terry, 84, of Courtland, Alabama passed away Monday, May 19, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Courtland Memory Gardens with Scotty Letson officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at Courtland Memory Gardens.
Born on April 4, 1941, to Joe and Lilly Rogers Terry. Joyce was a very Godly woman that stood firm on her faith. She believed in the power of prayer. Joyce enjoyed shopping, making her house pretty, but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her three children, Becky Terry, Chuck (Karen) Terry, and Jason "Bo Bo" (Crystal) Terry ; five grandchildren, Chris Terry, Colt (Lara Beth) Terry, Blake (Mandy) Terry, Amberly (Cody) Jackson, and Preston Terry; eight great-grandchildren, Kendall, Terry, Cameron Terry, Lindie Jo Fagan, Seanie Terry, Jasper Terry, Jett Terry, Slade Terry, and Colter Jackson; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Terry; and her parents, Joe and Lilly Terry.
Pallbearers will be Chris Terry, Colt Terry, Blake Terry, Preston Terry, Cameron Terry, and Cody Jackson.
