Ruby Thibodeaux

The family of Ruby M. Daigle Thibodeaux, 77, of Jennings, announces her passing on November 4, 2024, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service for Ruby will be held on Wednesday November 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings, with Father Clyde Thomas officiating her service.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 a.m., in the funeral home chapel in Jennings, until the time of service. A rosary will be held at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Ruby, our loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, was born in Jennings, LA, on October 2, 1947. She lived her life taking care of her family as a homemaker. If you knew Ruby, you know you can always find her playing bingo. She also enjoyed going to the casino and having a great time. She loved her family passionately and cherished every moment with them. We will always cherish the memories we have of our sweet Ruby.

Left to cherish those memories of her are her daughter, Tammy Daigle; son, Garland (Rachelle) Benoit; brother, Vincent Daigle; grandchildren, Krystal Benoit, Kallie Benoit, Summer (Tyrik) Benoit, Morgan (Terrell) Benoit, Alexis Benoit, Jude (Stephanie) Deshazo and Alex (Ceaire) Lantz and nine great grandchildren and number ten, Baby Sonnier on the way.

She was preceded in death by her father, Addison Daigle; two grandchildren, Robbie Benoit and Brittney Daigle.

Carrying her to her final place of rest will be Garland Benoit, Curtis Benoit, Ellis Daigle, Tyrik Sonnier; Alex Lantz and Shannon Savioe.
