Ruby Cogburn Timmerman

RUBY TIMMERMAN Ruby Cogburn Timmerman, 90, former resident of Johnston Road, widow of Ransom Carroll "R.C." Timmerman, died September 7, 2011 at the Saluda Nursing Facility. Born in Edgefield, January 10, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Hatta Lou Logue Timmerman. Mrs. Timmerman retired from Greenwood Mills, Adams Plant, and was a member of Ninety Six First Baptist Church. Surviving is a daughter, Susan T. Calhoun of Anderson; two sons, Ransom Carroll Timmerman, Jr. and Dr. Charlie Warren Timmerman, both of Aiken; four sisters, Helen Hare of Edgefield, Jo Ann Nobles of Toccoa, GA, Rebecca James of Greenville and Rhett O'Neal of Anderson; one brother, Steve "Ike" Cogburn of Columbia; nine grandchildren, Robb Calhoun, Jake Calhoun, Warren Timmerman, Charleen Fitzgerald, Julie Christopher, Tee Timmerman, Jennifer Lawson, Alicia Vorhis and Trisha Grambow; fourteen great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Friday, September 9, 2011, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Chuck Sprouse officiating. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the graveside service.
