With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Trice, who departed this world on July 7, 2025, at the age of 85. A cherished soul, Ruby was born on September 28, 1939, in the serene landscapes of Burke County, Georgia. Her journey through life was a testament to the power of kindness, dedication, and love.
Ruby’s life was richly woven with beautiful experiences and heartfelt connections. She often found joy in the simple things and touched numerous lives with her warmth and compassion. Those who knew her were consistently inspired by her unwavering spirit and infectious laughter. Ruby possessed a unique ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued, creating a nurturing environment wherever she went.
As we gather to honor her memory, family and friends are invited to partake in the events scheduled at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, Georgia. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, allowing those who cared for her to share stories and cherish the moments spent together. A Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM, also at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, where we will reflect on the indelible mark Ruby left on our hearts. The interment will take place afterward at Walker Memorial Park, starting at 12:15 PM, where she will find her final resting place.
Ruby Trice’s spirit will forever resonate in the lives she touched. While we mourn the loss of such a remarkable woman, we find solace in celebrating her legacy and the love she shared so freely. May her memory be a blessing to us all.
