Ruby Charlene Hudgins Varden, passed away at her home, July 16, 2024, from heart complications. She was surrounded by her loving family. Charlene was born January 31, 1938, in a hollar down Anglin Road in Jingo, Tennessee, now known as Fairview. Charlene was the daughter of the late Ida Anglin Hudgins and James Odie Hudgins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Euell Varden. Charlene is survived by her son, Mickey (Angie) Varden, and daughter, Elizabeth (Danny) Binkley. 4 Grandchildren, Nathan (Renea) Varden, Erica (Brad) Hudson, Thomas (Kristin) Varden and Sharla Binkley (J.D. Phillips). Three step-grandchildren, Bart Binkley, Dana Binkley (deceased), Becky Binkley. 7 Greatgrandchildren, Dylan, Leighton, Brysen, Logan, Carter, Lila & Arlan and 5 step grandchildren, Katelyn (Deceased), Summer, Karmen, Destinee, & Morgan and 3 step great grandchildren, Sean, Cami, & Hartlyn. Brother Jimmy (Barbara) Hudgins, Sister Diane Hudgins Clowers, Sister-in-law, Peggy Varden. Many loving nieces and nephews. Charlene loved her family very much. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at Pinkerton New Hope Cemetery, Fairview, Thursday, July 18th, at 6:00 p.m. with Brother Gary Anderson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Hope Community Cemetery Fund at Apex Bank.
