It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ruby Marie Warner, on June 15, 2025. Born on July 28, 1939, in Ignacio, CO to John Henry Foster and Ethel Mae Symons Foster. Ruby's life was a testament to her strength and devotion to her family, friends, and faith. A proud resident of Perry, Utah, she lived her life with a spirit of service and dedication that touched all who were fortunate to know her.
She served as an Office Manager with the State of Utah until her retirement. Ruby's love for life extended beyond her professional achievements. She was an enthusiastic bowler, a baker, candy-maker and avid camper, often seen heading to Bear Lake. She loved doing puzzles and knitting. Ruby's creativity also found an outlet in coloring apps, which she enjoyed immensely.
Ruby was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had several callings in the church, including Girls Camp, Choir, and a two-year mission in The Canary. She married her sweetheart Chester Rex Warner on October 22, 1957, in Durango Colorado. They were married for 63 years until his passing on September 3, 2021.
Ruby is survived by her children, Chuck (Lisa) Warner, Hoot Warner, Linda Hansen and Amber (EJ) Anderson; 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chester, daughter Char, grandson Tyson and great-grandson Edward.
Ruby's memory will continue to be cherished and celebrated by her family, friends, and all who knew her. The family would like to express special thanks to Bruce Howard, Nurses & Aide at Aspen Ridge Hospice, her daughter Linda Hansen & granddaughters Thais Perez and Tessa Winzler.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 North Monroe, Ogden, Utah 84404.
