Ruby "Pony" Watts

WATTS, Mrs. Ruby "Pony" - age 77, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Corewell Health in Troy, Michigan. Family hour 10:30AM Friday, December 26, 2025 at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church, 143 Oneida Street, with funeral commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Pastor Emeritus Douglas P. Jones, officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Friends and pallbearers will assemble 10:30AM at the church Friday. Mrs. Watts will lie instate at the church and may be viewed from 9:00AM until the time of service Friday.

Mrs. Watts leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Willie Watts; step-daughter, Willie Mae Thompson; niece, Dorothy Spears; great-nephew, DeAngelo Williams, Jr; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Watts was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Freddie Williams; siblings, Frank Williams, Billy Williams and Pearline Mitchell; and nephew, Willie C. Simmons.
