Ruby Wilt Obituary
Born May 16, 1938 in Harpers Ferry, WV, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Ott and Gladys Turner Ott.
She was of the Christian faith.
Dolores was a graduate of Charles Town High School, Class of 1957 and went on to employment with Blue Ridge Elementary School, Badger-Powhatan, Barber and Ross and was later a full- time homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Pam Shipe and husband, James "Brother" of Charles Town, and Lori Oden and husband, Larry of Deltona, FL., three sons, Todd Wilt and wife, Mitzi of Charles Town, Kevin Wilt and companion, Janie Kirkpatrick of Ranson and Bradley Wilt and wife, Ann of Harpers Ferry, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great-great-on the way, one sister, Jeannette Heskett, one brother, Keith Ott and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Lyle Estal Wilt in 2014, one sister, June Ott Smallwood and one brother, Paul Wayne Ott.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Lynn Wilson officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
