Our beautiful and beloved Ruby Woodard passed on November 20th, 2023 in Sunnyvale, Tx. With our saddened and heavy hearts we remember all of the amazing qualities of sweet Ruby. Right after high school graduation, she married her husband James. They were happily married for over 68 years. They went on to have their only son, Terry. Ruby was the most selfless person who gave all her love to her family. She gave us joy, laughter, kindness, and open arms. From loving to shop, sewing, painting her nails cranberry red, going to church every Sunday, and teaching bible study are only a few of all the memories we have of her. She had room in her heart for everyone, and eventually, she became a grandmother to Michelle and Melody. Later, she became a great grandmother to Emma, Ethan, and Luke. She made such an impact on every life she touched. There are really no words to describe the woman we call our Nanny.
She is survived by her husband Jim Woodard; son Terry Woodard and wife Mona; grandchildren: Michelle McIntosh and husband Jim, Melody Sanders and husband Tyler; great grandchildren: Emma and Ethan McIntosh, and Luke Sanders.
Ruby is preceded in death by Arthur Sexton - father, Thelma Sexton - mother, James Sexton - brother, Wayne Sexton - brother, Neva Sexton - sister
