To the family of Rob, I am so sorry for the loss of this special man. I went to school with Rob and was in band with him as well. He was very talented and glad he lived his life doing what he loved...music. My prayers to you all. May his children carry his legacy and know he gave the good fight. A soul gone too soon from this earth, God has bigger plans for him. May the memories and love you have be your guide through the healing of sadness...Praying for God's strength, Peace and comfort to you all....Tasha Johnson

I havent seen Rob in years. But we hungout a lot back in the day. Mostly at Center Stage where he hung out and he dj'd there. Prob the best DJ they ever had there. Also we hung out with him and Paul Carter at Western il university and Change of Pace bar. Also hung out at WD's and Billiards in Galesburg. Lots of good times. And even at mine and Dales apt in Galesburg. And many other times ate nineties and early 2000's. Coming next month I will be cancer free for a year. So I know how bad and deadly this disease is. And can always come back. I hate cancer. But you just gotta keep on livin and it sounds like he did until the end. Much love and respect to you Rob. He was 3yrs younger than me and that hits me hard. But you lived it up while you were here. That's awesome! You are gone but never will be forgotten. Til we meet again. Here's a toast you Rob. You will be missed... Eric Crooks

Dear Vicki, Ron, Lisa, Greg and all the family,

Although Rob was a cousin, I didn't know him well. From what I have gleaned from the lovely obituary, he was a very special person. I am saddened that he has lost his battle, but he has won his crown, so all is not lost. Please know that you have our deepest condolences from out in the PNW.

May the choirs of angels come to greet him and lead him to paradise. May the Lord enfold your family with His comfort and Love.

I had the joy of being Rob's Sunday School teacher for several of those 14 years of perfect attendance. He was always there, full of energy and excitement. I knew then he was a special soul. Condolences to his family and children.
