Charlie Greenwood

I first met Rud in his capacity of the Chair of the Special Education Department at the University of Kansas. I grew to like him as he was always helpful, supportive, and respectful of the work we were doing at the Juniper Gardens Children's Project in urban Kansas City, KS. He was instrumental in help with development of our first Post-Doctoral training grant that became the first in a series beginning in 1983. Socially, Judy and I and our daughter Amelia, challenged with Asperger's syndrome had family dinners with Rud, Ann, and Jay. Another special time, was the Rud's toga partner out at the lake in Lawrence. We loved him and he will always be in our hearts. Condolences Ann and family

Ann: We learned about Rud from an announcement during this morning´s service at Plymouth Church here in Lawrence. Just shocked and so very sad at the news. Can´t believe the important work that he and you have so ably carried out through the years is now so tragically
Impacted. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We are so pleased to note of a celebration of his life is to be held here. May all the wonderful memories of his life so well lived sustain you all.
