Rudy Hernandez 56, departed to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday November 24, 2024 at Hendrick medical center. Funeral mass will be Tuesday December 3rd at 10am at St. Francis Catholic Church.
Rudy was born December 2nd, 1967 to Domingo and Carolina Hernandez in Abilene TX. Rudy attended local schools and began working at La Popular Bakery as a teenager all the way up until he could no longer work.
Rudy will always be remembered by his goofy spirit, contagious laugh, remarkable smile, and his hard devoted work ethic at La Popular Bakery where he spent most of his time laughing, making jokes, and most of all singing. Rudy's heart was to always put people before himself. He loved deeply and loved with all his heart.
Rudy was preceded in death by both parents Domingo and Carolina Hernandez and oldest brother Joseph Hernandez.
Left to cherish him memories are his siblings: Roy Hernandez Sr, Marylou Rangel (Jesse), Sandra De Le Garza (Danny), and Richard Hernandez (Alma). He also has a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, friends and his La Popular family.
Family will receive friends at visitation from 7:30pm to 9pm on Monday December 2nd at North's funeral home with a reading of the rosary begin at 8pm.
Pallbearers: Jesus Rangel, Joseph Hernandez, Joe Arias, Roy Hernandez Jr, Abren Hernandez, Sammy Villarreal, Lil Richie Arias, and Felix Sanchez
Honorary Pallbearers: Elijah Hernandez & Leondro Vargas.
