Rudy Carroll Williams, Sr., 76, was born on July 1, 1949, in DeKalb, Texas, and passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, at 12:12 a.m., in the loving arms of his devoted wife of 55 years, Joyce Williams.
Rudy lived a good, full life surrounded by family and friends. He loved spending time with his friends playing golf, bowling, and enjoying a good card game. Whether on the green, at the bowling alley, or around the card table, Rudy cherished fellowship, laughter, and friendly competition. He was a man who valued relationships and made lasting memories with those around him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Williams of 55 years; his two sons, RC Williams Jr. of Ohio and Ricky Williams and his wife, Tori Williams, of Keller, Texas; his sisters Polly, Helen, Niva, Kay and Lisa; his brothers Dwight and Dicky; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will continue to honor his legacy.
Rudy was preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie Williams and Dusty Williams; his sister, Barbara Cox; his mother, Irene Williams; and his father, Morris Williams.
Services are pending at this time and will be announced by the family.
Rudy will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love of family, friendship, and the simple joys of life.
