Rueben Boevers Obituary
Funeral services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Valley Grove Cemetery, Nerstrand.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home for one hour prior to the services on Thursday.
Rueben, the son of Frederick and Emma (Floren) Boevers, Sr., was born on May 3, 1930, in Forest Township, Rice County. He was formerly employed by Nerstrand Elevator and Fertilizer Plant and the Kenyon Elevator. Rueben loved the outdoors and hunting.
He is survived by his children, Ramona Baalson of Faribault, Rose (and Michael) Stenbakken of Nerstrand, Rueben (and Connie) Boevers, Jr. of Lakeville and John Boevers of Nerstrand; nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son-in-law, Donald Baalson, great-great-granddaughter, Brookly Monson; siblings Viola Mokmunskie, Eleanor Boevers, Thelma Mueller, Frieda Dahms, Frederick Boevers, Jr. and Raymond Boevers.
