Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium - Hanover StreetRueben Tyler Carson, 29, of Lyndeborough, NH died suddenly on February 5, 2026.
Rueben was born on November 1, 1996, to his parents, Robert and Dainya Carson. He grew up in Lyndeborough, Wilton and Milford, NH, spending much of his childhood at softball fields, sports auditoriums, camp grounds and family gatherings. Rueben grew up with a strong sense of family, being fortunate to have so many family members living so close. Rueben went on to marry his high school sweetheart Nicole (Steinbrecher) Carson, and together they brought into the world their daughter, Daisy Rue Carson.
Rueben was a passionate person who enjoyed spending any extra time he had with his beloved daughter, Daisy. Together, they played dress up, with Rueben always willing to have his hair and make up done by “a professional,” his 7 year old daughter, an expert in such fun. They loved going out to lunch or dinners together, as well as dancing to live music at Riley’s Place. As an adult, Rueben’s favorite pastimes all involved spending important time with his daughter, who he loved deeply and unconditionally.
Rueben enjoyed being outdoors, playing softball, and hiking local mountains with Daisy in tow. Rueben was raised on the softball field, and was a naturally gifted athlete, able to make his family proud with his natural skills and great teammate mentality. He was also very passionate about wrestling and was a part of the Milford Wrestling team in high school. Rueben loved teaching Daisy about wrestling as well, and together they were both members of Mindset Wrestling in Milford, NH. Rueben also served in the Navy for 4 years, working in Special Intelligence.
Rueben is survived by his daughter, Daisy Rue Carson, mother, Dainya (Simpson) Carson and his high school sweetheart and mother of his child Nicole (Steinbrecher) Carson. He is also survived by his sister, Gabrielle Ponton-Carson, by his grandparents, Robert and Terri Carson and Curt Simpson, and by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, including but not limited to Sonja and Daniel Francisco, Zachory and Jennifer (Hadley) Simpson, Chris and Deb (Dalton) Carson, Terri Carson, Lee and Dara Simpson and Christian Houle. Rueben was pre-deceased by his beloved father, Robert Carson, and also by his grandmother, Marcelle Simpson, and aunts, Rose Carson and Alice Carson. Rueben also leaves behind many cousins, friends, and fur babies.
Rueben was a good friend to many, a kind and gentle soul that cared tremendously about the people around him and in his life. Rueben loved his daughter and his family, his friends and his pets, a love so deep that it will live on in the hearts of all of those that he touched.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Rueben on Wednesday February 18th, held at the Milford VFW, from 4 – 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to https://gofund.me/246d98cc6.
