Rufus Smith Obituary
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 at 12:00 Noon in the Refuge Community Church. Burial: Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (Tuesday, February 10th at 10:00 AM)
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Smith; sons, Erick, Jamal O. and Avery Smith; daughter, Michelle Claybourne; brother, Gereald Smith; ten (10) grandchildren, one (1) great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Saturday, February 7th from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the church; the family will receive friends at the home.
