Russel Lowell Jenkins

Russel L. Jenkins, born March 6, 1935, in Advance, MO passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, November 2, 2025.

Russel was an avid golfer and long-time member of Hickory Hills Country Club, as well as member of the Elks Lodge 409. When not on the golf course he enjoyed Bowling in winter leagues or traveling to warmer weathers to continue enjoying his golf passion.

He was known for his humor, kindness and generosity.

When asked how he was doing he would often say "well I woke up on the right side of the divot!". Russel will be deeply missed by his many friends and family.

Russel is survived by a sister, Carolyn Visek; daughter Debbie Angotti (David); son Scotty Jenkins (Suzy); grandchildren Heather, Courtney, Taylor and great grandchildren Isla and Stevie; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death: Parents Freeman and Jewel Jenkins; sister Dean Collier, brothers William, Lemond and Earl Jenkins; Wilma Dee Jenkins loving wife of 58 yrs and high school sweetheart and infant son Russel Jenkins, Jr.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm at the Chapel followed by a graveside Burial at Maple Park Cemetery.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the Staff at The Township Senior Living, Battlefield, MO., for their loving care and compassion the last couple years.
