Russell Davis age 76 of Kingston passed away Monday April 11, 2011 at his home. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Owned and operated the Davis ESSO Station on Gallaher Road. He worked at Y-12 and K-25, loved nature, animals, gardening and was a devoted and loving husband and family man. Preceded in death by mother Marie Davis. Survivors include: Wife of 55 years Lillian Davis of Kingston; Daughters and sons in law Sharon and Ben Loposser; Vicki and Gary Phipps all of Kingston; Grandsons Darren Loposser and wife Jan; Wade Loposser; Ken Starnes; Danny Patterson and wife Lashell; Kacey Patterson; Great granddaughters Lexie and Makenzie Patterson; Aunt Alta Hicks; Uncle Harley Wyatt; Nephew Steve Hicks.
Funeral 8pm Thursday April 14, 2011 in the Kyker Chapel with Rev. Randy Griffis officiating. Burial 2pm Friday at the Kingston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Thursday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
