Russell Martin Dobbs, a beloved resident of Lithonia, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the age of 56. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Russ was a cherished member of his community and a devoted family man, friend, and mentor.
Russell spent his vibrant life as a Master Barber at NU-JAXX, where he not only honed his craft with exceptional skill but also touched the lives of those who sat in his chair with his warm spirit and genuine kindness. His presence brightened the day of everyone he encountered, fostering lasting relationships and cherished memories.
He will be fondly remembered by his family, friends, and clients as a beacon of positivity, dedication, and love. Russell was a man who valued connections with others and left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.
A visitation will be held at Gregory B. Levett and Son Funeral Home, Flat Shoals Location, in Decatur, Georgia, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and share their fondest memories in a time of reflection and remembrance.
A Celebration of Life service will be held the following day on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11:00 am at Peace Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia. This gathering will be an opportunity for Russell's loved ones to honor his life and legacy in a ceremony filled with love and gratitude.
