Russell S. Laszczynski, age 87, of Robinson Township, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 18, 2025. Born on September 26, 1937, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Sylvester and Gertrude (Wozniak) Laszczynski. Russ was the beloved spouse of the late Maryann (Bodnar) Laszczynski; loving father of Lynn (Robert) Woods and Russell (Rana) Laszczynski; cherished grandfather of Kimberly (William) Black, Jason (Allison) Shiring, Melinda (John Forse) Laszczynski, and the late Connor Woods; great-grandfather of Zachary, Sydney, and Riley Black and Silja-Mae Shiring; brother of the late James (Joann) Laszczynski.
Russ will be truly missed by all of his friends at Silver Sneakers, where his presence brought warmth, laughter, and companionship to every class. His Friday night dinners at Juliano's Restaurant, always in his special booth, became a cherished ritual- a testament to his love of good food, good company, and the simple joys of life. Russ enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed his travels to Kennywood, Niagara Falls, Texas, and watching the grandchildren with their activities. He will be missed and will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Family and friends will gather on Tuesday. July 22, 2025 for a visitation from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136.
