Russell Nations Obituary
Russell Nations, age 79, of Canton, GA passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026 at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from the Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Mullinax, Rev. Tim McFarland and Bro. Greg Cagle officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in the Clayton Community.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday, February 23, 2026, and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at South Canton Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by, Parents: Russell, Sr. and Lois Nations, Brother: Joel Nations, Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law: Kermit and Della "Jack" Cagle and Nephew: Dean Cosby
Survivors include:
Jane Cagle Nations, wife of 60 years
Daughter - Lori Nations Duckworth
Son - Thad Nations and wife Mary
Daughter - Amanda Correll and husband Justin
Grandchildren - Jennifer and William Wilson, Dusty and Lane Nations, Kaley Nations and Chance Townsend
Great Grand Children - Emma, Jessi, Ava, Jackson and Allie
Grandchildren by Love: Bridgett, Montanna, David, Kotori, Timothy, Brooke, Jacob, Katelyn and Autumn
Sister: Janis Nations
Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and other Family also survive.
