Russell Eugene “Russ” Robbins, 75 years old passed away July 25, 2024. He was born on February 7, 1949, in National City, California to the late Walter W. and Thelma O. (Shelton) Robbins. Russ as he was affectionately known, worked for 38 years for the Indianapolis Internation Airport as a Window Washer. He enjoyed hunting, playing bingo, and enjoyed being busy working. Russ is survived by his sons, Brent Robbins, Jacob Robbins, his four sisters, his brother, his special niece, Hannah Lewis, his numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and extended family. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rebecca J. “Becky” (Johnson), his daughter, Amanda Robbins, and his brothers, Wallace and William Robbins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the funeral to follow immediately at 2:00pm there. Memorial gifts may be directed to the American Diabetes Association. Flanner Buchanan is entrusted with the cremation arrangements, and he will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery at a future date.
