Russell Andrew Stadtfeld

Russell Andrew Stadtfeld, dedicated and hardworking brother and friend, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 12, 2023. He was 59 years old. Per his wishes, cremation will take place with a private service to follow. Russell was born May 22, 1964, in Lakeview, MI to Robert L. and Mildred A. (Greyzck) Stadtfeld. He was locally educated through Chippewa Hills Schools where he graduated in 1982. Shortly after graduation, Russ got a job working at Fate's Market in Remus. He quickly became part of the family, working his way up in the store as a dedicated employee over the next 40 plus years. Russ enjoyed time with his friends and family as much as he enjoyed his quiet alone time. He was an excellent caregiving to his mother during the last years of her life and had a heart of gold. Russ's kind nature will be greatly missed by his brother, Fred Stadtfeld; close cousin, Kay Stamper; Godchildren, Jacquelin Robinson (Bark), husband Kacey, Paul Robinson and Audra Ogren; friend that he considered family, Pete Robinson, and numerous friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Talbot.
