Age 95. Beloved husband of 71 years to Ann Marie (nee Bolognese) Todaro; devoted father of Cheryl (late Harry) Spellman, Cynthia (Lewis) Bolton and Michelle (Robert) Zielinski; loving grandfather of Jennifer, CJ (Danielle), Sean, Mark (Brenna), Robert, Kelsey (Cody), Nicole (Matthew), and Matthew (Keaton); adored great-grandfather of Grace, Nora, Russell, Samuel, Kaden, and Jack; dear brother of Mary (late George) Striegel and the late Thomas (Marie) and Salvatore (Serena) Todaro; also survived by nieces and nephews. Russell was a United States Army Veteran and retired Engineer with the New York State Department of Transportation. The family will be present Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 2-4 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd.). Family and friends are invited to assemble Monday, August 11, 2025 at 10:30 AM to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Church, 200 St. Gregory Ct., Williamsville, NY 14221. My deepest sympathy to Ann Marie and the family. I worked 10 years with Russ and he was a gentle man with great product knowledge, and a clear thinker who had the respect of the customers and his peers.
