Russell Dean Rieth was born on January 11, 1971 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Francis Dean Rieth and Della Raye (Patton) Ybarra. Rusty grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. He later attended Central State University in Edmond. He worked at Mazzios as a Cook for many years. Rusty also worked as a roofer and a warehouse worker in Edmond and Oklahoma City.
He loved being with his family and friends. He also enjoyed art, playing cards, online gaming, watching action movies, especially fantasy, sci-fi, and pirate genres. He also liked listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
He is survived by his parents, Della and Jim Ybarra of Woodward; one brother John Rieth of Salina, Kansas; step-brother, Jimmy Ybarra of Norman; step-sister, Lauren Howard of Edmond; nieces: Kara Rieth of Salina, Kansas, Hannah Howard of Norman; many other relatives and friends.
Rusty was preceded in death by his father, Dean Rieth, brother Donald Rieth, grandparents, Fred and May Rieth and Clarence "Pat" and Lovenia Patton.
