Sgt. Rusty C. Stillman was born in Loveland Colorado on October 09, 1990, his life ended too soon on Thursday, August 18 2022. He graduated from Loveland High School in 2009 and enlisted in the Marine Corps January of 2010. He lived with his mom Brenda Huggenberger in between his excursions in Windsor Colorado.
Rusty enjoyed hiking and camping with family and friends, cooking and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He liked leaving funny notes on the back of restaurant receipts for servers. He could make you laugh in any situation, always the jokester. He could pull off any hairstyle whether it was a mullet or a clean cut. He loved putting together a costume and heading out to the Renaissance Festival. He was a jack of all trades and loved building things. Rusty lived all over and was never afraid to pull up his roots and relocate to another state. Rusty loved his family and was always there to help with anything they needed.
Rusty was stationed at Camp Pendleton with 2/11, 3/1 and 2/4. He did two MEU deployments where he went to Okinawa for 7 months. While enlisted he also went to Thailand, Hawaii, Singapore, Cambodia, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and Australia.
Rusty is survived by his parents, Brenda Huggenberger and Steve Mule Stillman, brothers Chad Huggenberger, and Wesley Stillman, and nephews Stoan and Sebastian Stillman. Grandmothers Jackie Waterman and Karleen Stillman, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins that are all going to miss him dearly.
Services will be held Friday August 26 at 10:30am, First Christian Church 2000 North Lincoln Ave, Loveland Colorado. The reception will be held after the service at Senor Rafael s at the Mexican Inn, 804 South Lincoln Ave, Loveland Colorado.
Cards and Memorial contributions can be sent to Brenda Huggenberger, 1280 Lake Cr 11-A, Windsor CO 80550. There will also be a donation box provided the day of the service.
