Ruth Wong Arnow

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs Wong at B. Altman and Co in the 1980´s. I was an assistant buyer in my first job out of undergrad.

Mrs Wong (as we all called her) was elegant and always happy to help me learn the business and improve. She took time to mentor me and make me feel valued.

I will never forget her elegance and sense of style and grace.

Aunt Ruth was one of a kind. Elegant, whip-smart with a great sense of irony and humor, she loved her family beyond words and lived a life of accomplishment and appreciation. She left an indelible mark on all who knew or met her. All my love and sympathy to all her many family and friends xoxo Mary
