Predeceased Brother, Owen (Jane) Nesius. Sisters, Florence (Charles) Adolphson, Eleanor Nau.
Survived by her loving husband, Helmut Bescherer. Brother, Theodore (Jeanie) Nesius. Twin Sister, Martha (John) Downs. Brother-in-law, Gerard Nau. Several nieces and nephews, many dear friends.
Ruth was a retiree of Maplecrest. She enjoyed dancing at the German Club, gardening and setting up her Christmas village in her living room. She loved her cat's, another liking of Ruth was her favorite color, "Orange". She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

The family will receive friends 4:30-7:30 pm Wednesday January 22, 2025 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.) A Memorial Service will follow visitation at 7:30 pm. Interment St. Francis Cemetery Leroy, NY.
