Ruth E. Bobich, 73, longtime resident of Brookline, NH, died on October 30, 2024, at the St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, after a period of declining health.
She was born on October 1, 1951, in Queens, NY, a daughter of the late Alexander and Lois (Flemming) Solla.
Ruth married Richard Bobich and together made their home in Brookline since 1982. She worked for many years in the Brookline school system and enjoyed working with children.
Her hobbies included, knitting, puzzles and being with her family. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard Bobich in February of this year.
Survivors include her children, Richard and Christina Bobich of Brookline, NH, Peter and Lori Bobich of New Boston, NH and Darlene and Cecil Patrick of Farmington, ME, four grandchildren, her sister, Jean Borrow, two brothers, Eric Solla and John Solla and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH 03055. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Pepperrell Road, Brookline, NH. All are invited to meet directly at the cemetery.
