Ruth L. Chavez, age 92, a resident of Bosque, New Mexico passed away peacefully at her home on January 2, 2024.
Ruth was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Chavez; parents, Jose and Julia Lovato; sisters, Rafelita Lovato and Annie Gonzales; as well as her grandson, Adam Carrillo.
She is survived by her children, Arthur Chavez, Joann (Gene) Carrillo, Lawrence (Rebecca) Chavez, Joyce Chavez, Manuel Chavez, and Gerald Chavez; grandchildren, Melissa (Ricky) Trujillo, Jessica Chavez, Vincent Chavez, Josh Espinosa, Crystal Chavez, Juan Chavez, Samantha Chavez, Britney (Sam) Chavez, and Jose Carrillo.
Services for Ruth will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Monday, January 15, 2024, beginning with a Visitation at 8:30 am followed by a Rosary at 9:30 am and the Mass to be recited at 10:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at the Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Vincent Chavez, Juan Chavez, and Jose Carrillo; sons, Lawrence Chavez, Manuel Chavez, and Gerald Chavez.
Honorary pallbearers are her children, Arthur Chavez, Joann Carrillo, and Joyce Chavez; grandchildren, Melissa Trujillo, Jessica Chavez, Josh Espinosa, Crystal Chavez, Britney Chavez, and Samantha Chavez; great-grandchildren, Isabella Carrillo, Alina Trujillo, and Jaylin Trujillo.
Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W. Reinken Ave., where an online guest register is available at www.noblin.com.
