Ruth R. Cunningham, 87, of Ormond Beach, FL. Formerly of Bethlehem passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024. Born on October 4, 1936 in West Fork, AR, she was one of twelve children of the late Dora (Paris) and Leo S. Williams. She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth C. Richardson and the late Richard E. Cunningham.
Ruth worked for the Bethlehem Steel, retiring as a billing clerk. She enjoyed traveling with family, especially cruises, cross word puzzles, Candy Crush and scratch off lottery tickets. Ruth had an infectious laugh that brought joy to those around her. Family was always her priority and she cherished and looked forward to her time with her grandchildren.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kerry Henry; brothers, Ed and Larry Williams; grandson, Isaiah Cruz; 8 stepchildren and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Richardson; her 9 siblings and 2 stepchildren.
A viewing will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing will also be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
