Ruth Davis Obituary
Ruth was born on September 29, 1946 in North English, Iowa to William and Kathryn (Ochs) Davis.
After graduating from Muscatine High School, Ruth started working as a pharmacy technician at the University of Iowa; a career that spanned over 40 years.
Following retirement, Ruth kept herself occupied with various hobbies. She was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting Native American pottery. She was a fan of various art projects and paintings and loved spending time on crossword puzzles (especially the New York Times!)
Ruth is survived by her sister, Evelyn Holladay; brother Edward (Carol) Davis; nieces and nephews: Cale Davis, Janet Hoch, Chris Davis, Valerie Holladay (Shane Nelson) and Andrew Holladay; great niece, Alana (Briley) Else and great great nephews: John "Jack" Else and Charles Else. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Frederick Davis and nephew, Fred Davis.
A private celebration of life will be held in Ruth's honor.
