Ruthie was a delightfully happy young woman who loved the world. She embraced new and old activities, was a shark at winning medals for Special Olympics and was always ready to hit the road and travel. Her friends were everywhere and she never forgot a person that she had met. Her sweet caring nature and smile will not be forgotten. Rest in the Peace you rightly have earned. And look in on us from time to time. We will know you are near.

Ruth was a dear friend from the First Presbyterian Church. She always sat close to my husband and me during worship. But I remember more of the fun she enjoyed at our Elizabeth Circle. I would give her a ride to our meetings and she loved to talk. We laughed and had a good time especially at the Christmas party and exchanging gifts. She always greeted me with a smile as she worked at Kroger and her last words were to tell my husband hello from her. A very sweet person. She will be missed. Love...

I sang in the worship band at Elevate and for years Ruth would stand in the front row and worship with so much joy in her heart! She was a pleasure to be around. Sorry for her family's loss.

I am so very sorry to hear of Ruthie“s passing! She was a saint and now she is definitely an angel! I met Ruthie several years ago at Special Olympics in Mt. Pleasant where I helped coach. She was always a breath of fresh air, sharing her hugs and smiles with everyone. After my niece Bambi passed away, Ruthie would ask how my sister and our family was doing whenever our paths crossed at Kroger or anywhere we saw her. She would say to tell everyone hello and say she loved us.She will truly be missed by my entire family. My heart is heavy for her family and I will be praying for all of you. Rest in peace sweet Ruthie. I miss you already! I love you honey!
