In Loving Memory of Ruth DuMont
Ruth DuMont, age 71, passed away peacefully after a long battle with chronic pain and cancer.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and steadfast friend whose gentle spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Ruth’s life was rooted in her deep faith, which she lived out every day with humility and grace. She was a woman who believed in the power of kindness, compassion, and love, reflecting Christ in all her actions. Her faith gave her strength through the hardest times, and it was that same faith that inspired her to reach out to extend her heart to others, especially the lost and the lonely.
As a librarian, Ruth spent her days surrounded by books, but her true passion was in the connections she made with people. A voracious reader, she had a thirst for knowledge that she shared freely with everyone around her. She had a gift for listening, offering support, and making others feel valued, no matter their circumstances.
Ruth’s kindness knew no bounds. She befriended anyone and everyone with a sincerity that was rare. Whether through a quiet word of encouragement or the simple act of baking the best cookies, Ruth’s care for others was always evident. Her actions spoke of a heart that truly wanted to make the world a kinder, more loving place.
While we will miss her more than words can express, we take comfort knowing that she is now at peace, in the presence of the Lord she loved so dearly.
