Ruth Ann Eaton 72 of Greenville passed away October 5, 2024. Ruth Ann was born September 6, 1952, to her parents Fredrick and Rebecca (Fairfield) Grummet. She loved to do woodworking where she worked at New Craft Furniture, after retiring she loved taking vacations, traveling with her mother and aunt and in her spare time she loved to read and spend time with family. She is survived by her daughter Wendy (Roger) Towne of Statesboro Georgia and Son William (Sherry) Mitchell of Walker; grand children Brad (Franki) Schumacker, Chad Schumacker, Mackenzie Lamrock TerHaar, Cory Mitchell and Brook Mitchell; many great grandchildren and her brothers John Grummet and Ken Grummet. She was preceded in death by her Husband James Eaton, brother Fredrick Grummet Jr. and her parents. A Celebration of Her Life will be 1 PM Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Grenville. Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives from 12 Noon till the celebration.
