7/16/1931- 11/8/2025
Ruth Finkelstein, 94, of Yarmouth Port. Our hearts are heavy as we share the passing of our Mom ,Grandma, Ruth on November 8, 2025 at Cape Cod Hospital.
Born in Boston, MA. Daughter of the late Samuel & Jesse (Kabatznick) Isenberg. Ruth was predeceased in 1990 by her husband of forty years Jason Finkelstein.
She taught us the true meaning of happiness, love, and independence living every day with grace, laughter, and strength. Her legacy lives on in all of us.
She was a devoted mother to her daughter Debbie McFarlane (and her partner Steve Tattersall) and her Son, Glenn Finkelstein (and his wife, Catherine Finkelstein) and a proud grandmother to Tanya, Amie, Jennifer, Rick, Kacie, Taylor and Jason. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of her 11 wonderful great-grandchildren who brought endless smiles to her life. Ruth was also predeceased by her longtime companion John.
A funeral service to honor her beautiful life will be held on Wednesday, November 12th at 11:00 AM at The Cape Cod Synagogue, Hyannis, MA. Burial to follow at Mosswood Cemetery, Putnam Ave., Cotuit
